Buchhandlung Beneke GmbH, founded in Tübingen, in 1913, supports and supplies primarily universities, courts, companies, law offices, tax accountant’s offices, auditing companies, public-law institutions; in other words, customers who must necessarily have recourse to qualified up-to-date libraries to execute their work.
In terms of content, emphasis is placed on supporting domestic and foreign journals and standing- order subscriptions of all kinds.
The employees at Buchhandlung Beneke are all qualified booksellers and comprise a well- experienced team. The focal point of this team is our customers!
The online service of Buchhandlung Beneke, LibroNet, was introduced onto the web in March 1996 with its own web-server. The service has since received several awards.
We do not rest on our laurels. We are aware that the bookshop is currently undergoing fundamental transformation. Books and journals are now faced with competitors. Digital media and worldwide webs offer access to a huge range of information independently of time and place. To filter out the sought-for information from this plenitude and to bundle and present it in an efficient form has become increasingly important.
